Companion Animal Senior Territory Manager - Eugene, OR

Merck's Companion Animal Senior Territory Manager will manage assigned veterinary and shelter accounts in the Eugene and Bend, Oregon region. Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, developing account strategies, driving sales growth of animal health products, and serving as the primary contact for key clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for assigned veterinary clinics, shelters, and corporate accounts to understand needs
- Develop customer and territory strategies to drive sales growth and identify business opportunities
- Communicate product portfolio value and customize solutions based on customer requirements
- Collaborate with national account managers and distribution partners to support key accounts
- Analyze monthly sales results, manage budget expenses, and meet learning and development objectives
Requirements
- High school diploma with 10+ years sales experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts independently and develop territory plans
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad
- Ability to travel overnight and occasional weekend activities
- Sales experience in animal health industry preferred
- Multi-lingual fluency in Spanish preferred
