Responsibilities Walking dogs and supervising playgroups Feeding pets and administering medications Cleaning and sanitizing pet rooms and common areas Monitoring pet health, behavior, and interactions Documenting care notes and communicating with leadership Engaging pets in enrichment activities such as fetch, walks, and basic obedience games Comforting shy guests and managing high-energy groups Laundry and general facility upkeep Scooping poop, cleaning messes, and maintaining a clean work environment Qualifications Passionate about dogs and cats Gentle, patient, and safety-focused Comfortable supervising multiple dogs at once Able to recognize and prevent conflicts in playgroups Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Friendly and comfortable speaking with pet parents Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Requirements Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures Handle large and small dogs confidently Work weekends and holidays Be comfortable around pet messes and cleaning products Work Schedule Full-Time Weekend availability required Monday–Friday shifts Holiday shifts required Benefits & Perks Health, Dental & Vision Insurance for Full-Time employees Paid Training Employee Pet Care Discounts Tips Career growth opportunities within NVA Equal Opportunity Employer NVA Pet Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
