About the Role

Columbia Orthopaedic Group is looking for a friendly, dependable Patient Transporter - X-Ray to help keep our clinic moving and provide a great experience for our patients.

This position will primarily assist patients traveling between their exam rooms and our X-Ray department. You will work closely with our clinical and X-Ray teams to make sure patients get where they need to go safely, efficiently, and with a friendly face along the way.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, likes staying active throughout the day, and wants to be part of a busy healthcare team. No previous healthcare experience is required.
What You'll Do

• Escort and transport patients between exam rooms and the X-Ray department
• Assist patients who may need additional support while walking or navigating the clinic
• Communicate with X-Ray and clinical staff to help maintain efficient patient flow
• Provide patients with a welcoming, helpful, and professional experience
• Assist with wheelchairs and other mobility needs as appropriate
• Help keep patient transport areas organized and ready for use
• Pitch in with other patient flow or clinic support needs as needed

Requirements

• Friendly and comfortable interacting with patients of all ages
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to communicate clearly with patients and coworkers
• Comfortable being on your feet and walking throughout most of the workday
• Able to safely assist patients with mobility needs
• Team-oriented with a willingness to jump in and help
• Previous healthcare or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
