Job Description
Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with varying shifts of either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. No weekends, no call, no holidays.

Assignment Details:
Contract Duration: 19 weeks

Requirements:
- NYS License
- ARRT Certification with CE credits
- BLS Certification
- CT experience
- 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients about procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures, ensuring proper techniques are used for age-related needs and patient abilities.
- Analyze imaging results and take actions to resolve any quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures as necessary.
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results, while adhering to established protocols for radiopharmaceuticals management.
- Monitor patient conditions continually and respond to any changes in status accordingly.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms.
