1.0 FTE Speech Language Pathologist Lexington Public Schools (MA) Diamond Middle School - Lexington, Massachusetts Job Details Job ID: 5582483 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Starting Date: Immediate Job Description Position Title: 1.0 FTE Speech Language Pathologist FLSA: Exempt Reports to: Building Principal, Evaluation Team Supervisor, and Director of Special Education Terms of Employment: Benefits and salary in accordance with the LEA Unit A collective bargaining agreement. Salary prorated based on start date. Immediate Start Date. Unit A 25-26 Salary Range Responsibilities Supports instructional programming by providing speech/language therapy to students as required. Schedules students into appropriate instructional groups. Provides therapeutic services in both the general education and Speech office to students with a wide variety of speech and language disorders and student needs. Performs diagnostic evaluations and implements treatment plans in relation to student needs. Consults and collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement effective therapy. Serves as a consultant to school staff members in the development of services. Participates in team and parent meetings. Responsible for goal writing and occasionally serving as liaison for IEPs. Keeps thorough records of the individual student receiving services. Assists with mobility, transitioning, and personal care as needed. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge of AAC preferred. Qualifications Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech and Language Pathology, or a related field. DESE licensed as Speech Language Pathologist. Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or has completed requirements and application with ASHA (pending). We cannot support Clinical Fellowships at this time.
