Clin Lab Technologist II - Chemistry

Department and Unit Clinical Chemistry Work Shift Evening (United States of America) Salary Range $64,972.00 - $97,458.00 Responsibilities Utilize knowledge and clinical laboratory experience to perform testing accurately and timely. Perform tests that aid clinicians in detection, diagnosis, and monitoring of disease and treatment progress. Exercise independent judgment and responsibility with minimal supervision in qualified specialties. Compile reports of test results on laboratory specimens. Document test results and quality control thoroughly, accurately, and legibly. Use effective written and verbal communication skills to cooperate with customers and employees. Perform maintenance and quality control procedures. Use automated equipment and instruments as well as microscopes, cell counters, and other sophisticated laboratory equipment. May be exposed to infectious and hazardous chemicals as outlined in the department’s Chemical Hygiene Plan.
