Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical work, precision measuring instruments, and the ability to maintain, analyze, and repair complex industrial machinery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MECHANICAL: Read and troubleshoot from schematics, blueprints, manuals, and computers on all aspects of electronics, and test pneumatic instrumentation used in production. Completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirement Adjusting and calibrating machinery to improve productivity Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Diagnose trouble from a predictive standpoint, and perform all mechanical operations necessary to modify, repair, overhaul, and rebuild all types of different and difficult machine parts and building fixtures. Ability to use machine tools, plant machinery and equipment, fixtures, process and special equipment involving layout and development, and bench. Use the lockout/tag out procedure properly and aid in operations in any problems they encounter with the system. Start up new and or repaired equipment and assures proper operation. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 3+years related experience in a manufacturing setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
