Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nurses care in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting on night shifts, ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence. This role requires recent, permanent experience in the specialty, along with valid licensure and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs per established protocols.
• Interpret ECG rhythms and respond to cardiac emergencies promptly.
• Document patient care accurately and update electronic health records consistently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Respond to patient needs efficiently, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or valid compact license in hand at time of submission.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• possess active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Pass ECG and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Provide at least one reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty.
• Be nicotine-free or meet facility exemption criteria.
