Hospitalist Position At SSM Health St. Mary's HospitalSSM Health Dean Medical Group is seeking a hospitalist to join our robust team of skilled professionals. This position is based at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI, with occasional shift support at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, WI.Key Responsibilities:Daytime Rounding Shifts: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday–Sunday)Evening Admitting Shifts: 8-hour shifts with start times ranging from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pmNight Shifts: 10:30 pm – 7:30 amPatient Care: Manage an average census of 14–15 patients, typically 1 admission per rounding shiftShift Distribution:Up to 50% of shifts will be nightsRounding shifts typically occur in blocks of 5–7 days, with Monday as the switch dayICU Coverage:Madison: Closed ICUJanesville: 4-bed open ICU with 24/7 eICU capabilitiesFull-Time Position: 200 shifts annuallyRequirements:Active, unrestricted WI medical licenseActive, unrestricted DEABoard Certified/Board Eligible in Internal MedicineAbout SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison:At SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Madison, our goal is to serve the community and play an active role in it.
