Service Project Manager

Service Project Manager About the Role We’re looking for a Service Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for estimating and managing service projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing technical work, project coordination, and customer interaction while keeping projects running smoothly and efficiently. What You’ll Do Prepare accurate project estimates using plans, take-offs, and estimating software Review and gather pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Build and send detailed project scope proposals to customers and contractors Coordinate project staffing and ensure labor and materials are tracked for billing Manage project teams and ensure safety and company policies are followed Collaborate with internal teams to support projects and bids Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and service contacts Support efforts to grow and expand the customer base What We’re Looking For High school diploma required; construction management, electrical engineering, or related experience preferred Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once General knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and project types (commercial, industrial, residential) Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams, customers, and vendors Solid planning and problem-solving skills Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints Comfortable using computers and estimating software Valid driver’s license with a good driving record About Us Thompson Solutions Group is an employee-owned company providing electrical, mechanical, automation, and technology solutions across the Midwest.
