Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed, skilled, and patient-focused Massage Therapist to join our team. This role goes beyond relaxation massage — we are looking for a therapist experienced in clinical, therapeutic, and rehabilitative techniques who can support patients with chronic pain, injury recovery, and functional improvement.

The ideal candidate is professional, intuitive, and comfortable working in a medical-integrative setting .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic massage treatments tailored to each patient’s condition and treatment plan
• Utilize techniques such as:
• • Deep tissue
  • Myofascial release
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Sports or medical massage (preferred)
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative massage care to support recovery and healing
• Perform prenatal massage safely and appropriately when indicated
• Collaborate with the acupuncture physician and clinical team to support patient outcomes
• Review patient charts and adapt treatments based on medical needs and contraindications
• Document sessions accurately in the EMR system (Jane App or similar)
• Educate patients on post-treatment care, stretching, and self-care strategies
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and professional treatment environment
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and HIPAA standards
• Support patient retention through exceptional care and communication

Qualifications

• Active Florida Massage Therapy License (LMT)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in therapeutic or clinical massage preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and pain patterns
• Experience in pre- and post-operative massage and prenatal massage is highly preferred
• Experience working in a medical, chiropractic, or integrative setting is highly preferred
• Esthetician license is a strong plus (for cross-functional services within the clinic)
• Ability to customize treatments based on individual patient needs
• Excellent communication and bedside manner
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
