Allied Technician - Surgical Tech

Surgical TechnologistWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the operating room, providing assistance during surgical procedures, particularly in C-sections. This position requires availability for day shifts, including weekends and holidays, working three 12-hour shifts from 0645 to 1915.This position requires the ability to work three 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, as part of our commitment to providing high-quality surgical care.Client Details City Tillamook State ORKey Responsibilities:Assist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and sterile tools.Ensure a sterile environment and manage surgical supplies.Cooperate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical personnel to facilitate successful surgeries.Monitor patient vitals and maintain surgical records as needed.Adhere to safety protocols and best practices within the operating room.Qualifications:Education: Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology is required.Experience: Relevant acute care experience is preferred. C-section experience is a must.Licenses/Certifications: National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certification is preferred.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is preferred.
