CT Technologist

Role Overview The CT Technologist performs high-quality CT scans, ensuring optimal image quality and patient care. They coordinate patient flow, manage documentation in PACS and Meditech, and maintain a clean clinical environment. The role involves communicating with physicians, patients, and families, providing age-appropriate care, and answering patient questions. Key Responsibilities Perform CT exams following protocols and safety principles. Prepare procedure trays, start IVs, and operate contrast injectors. Gather patient history to support radiologists' assessments. Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital standards. Maintain licenses and certifications, and participate in on-call rotations. Support departmental duties as needed. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. Current ARRT certification; advanced CT registry preferred or eligible. Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience preferred. BLS certification required.
