Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: High Risk Obstetric care experience Experience with magnesium and EPIC charting system Ability to float between related units as required Description: We provide care for a diverse population of postpartum patients following delivery. Our unit manages high-risk obstetric patients with a high volume and census. Postpartum hemorrhage management and experience with medications like Pitocin and magnesium sulfate are essential. Nurses are expected to care for couples and manage their needs effectively. Experience with substance withdrawal is preferred. Candidates must be prepared to float to different areas as needed within the facility. We require flexibility to work weekends, including specific holidays. References are needed from previous employers to verify experience. Candidates should not contact facility directly unless instructed for interviews.
