Student Choir Operations Manager

The Student Manager will help the Ensemble Conductor with day-to-day operations of the choir, including rehearsal and concert set up and logistics, music library, and other administrative tasks as needed. Core Duties Arrive early and stay late to rehearsals to help set up and take down piano and chairs Help with assignment of folders and with distribution, collection, and organization of music Communicate with Choir on administrative and logistical matters Assist with programs and other tasks as assigned at concerts Assist in other administrative and marketing activities of the ensemble as directed by the Conductor Other relevant duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Manager must have auditioned for, been accepted as a member of, and be registered for the Singers (MUS 444). Manager must be available to attend to duties prior to and after scheduled rehearsals and concerts, and at other times as agreed upon with Conductor Manager must be able to move piano and also lift chairs and music stands Good organizational and communication skills are required for this position Preferred Qualifications Been in University Singers for at least a year Have or have held a student leadership position on campus Physical Requirements Must be able to move piano and also lift chairs and music stands #J-18808-Ljbffr University Of Portland
