About the Position

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• 3+ years of experience
• RRT required
• Tertiary teaching hospital experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Experience with acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute and critical care
• Experience with Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• EPIC experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1930
• Every other weekend required
• Participate in call rotation, approximately one call shift per month
• Call requirement includes 2 hours for the oncoming shift
• Float required to NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute and critical care
