Material Handler – 1st Shift

Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: 1st Shift | Mon-Fri 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Scrap Handler / Material Handler for a 1st-shift opportunity. This position is ideal for someone with solid forklift experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.

Approximately 90% of the position will involve operating a forklift , primarily unloading scrap materials and incoming trucks.

What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift throughout the majority of the shift
• Unload scrap materials and other incoming truckloads
• Move and organize materials throughout the facility
• Transport materials to designated storage or production areas
• Assist with general material-handling and scrap-handling duties as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures while operating equipment

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift experience required
• Good work history/tenure is required
• Material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or scrap-handling experience preferred
• Comfortable operating a forklift for the majority of the workday
• Ability to work safely around trucks, equipment, and industrial materials
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Position Details

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
• Primarily forklift/material-handling work
• Approximately 90% forklift operation
