Key Responsibilities Assist physicians in the identification and treatment of patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Develop, implement, and update individualized speech-language and swallowing plans of care. Prepare clinical progress notes and maintain accurate documentation. Consult with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members regarding patient care. Participate in departmental in-service education and professional development activities. Provide services in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Supervise Rehabilitation Aides and other assigned personnel. Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with our rehabilitation team, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Current CPR certification. Individuals nearing graduation and fulfillment of the above qualifications will be considered. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language.
