Job Title: Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator – Lancaster, CA

Hours: 24 per week (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

The Clinical Research Coordinator will support a clinical trial focused by leading patient recruitment and enrollment activities at a dedicated research site. This role involves coordinating all aspects of participant identification, pre-screening, and scheduling while ensuring adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed chart reviews in the electronic medical record (EMR) system to identify potential participants who meet study eligibility criteria.
• Pre-screen potential patients based on protocol-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Lead patient recruitment efforts by proactively identifying and engaging eligible participants for the clinical trial.
• Schedule patient appointments for study visits and related procedures in coordination with site staff and participants.
• Provide appointment reminders and follow-up communication to support participant retention and visit adherence.
• Collaborate with the research team to resolve queries and ensure accurate, complete, and timely study documentation.
• Maintain strict compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and HIPAA regulations in all aspects of patient interaction and data handling.
• Support overall clinical trial operations by contributing to a well-organized, efficient, and detail-oriented research environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform chart reviews against protocol-specific study criteria.
• Experience with patient pre-screening and recruitment in a clinical trial setting.
• Strong skills in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and study visits.
• Ability to manage query resolution and maintain accurate study documentation.
• Training in HIPAA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment.

Work Environment

This position is based at a clinical research site in Lancaster, CA and operates during normal business hours. The environment is fast paced and requires strong attention to detail, consistent adherence to protocols, and professional interaction with patients and staff.

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lancaster,CA.
