The CNCC Dental Hygiene Program is based on our Rangely campus and prepares students for entry-level dental hygiene practice through comprehensive learning experiences. We offer an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, emphasizing the development of practical skills, professional behaviors, and ethical judgment necessary for safe dental hygiene care.

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Adjunct Clinical Faculty member to join our Dental Hygiene Program. In this part-time role, you will provide instruction and evaluation in clinical, pre-clinical, laboratory, simulation, community-based, and patient-care-related settings. Your contribution will be crucial in supporting students' clinical skill development, ensuring patient safety, and promoting professionalism.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide instruction and supervision in assigned clinical, pre-clinical, laboratory, and patient-care learning environments.
• Prepare for instructional sessions, adhering to approved course syllabi and program expectations.
• Support students in developing their knowledge and skills in dental hygiene, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care.
• Observe, coach, and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate records related to student evaluations and attendance.
• Participate in required communication and coordination processes to ensure clinic consistency and student support. 

Qualifications: 

• A degree in dental hygiene or a related field.
• Current licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in Colorado.
• Previous teaching or clinical supervision experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
