Responsibilities The position focuses on delivering Department of Work (DoW)-wide inventory reconciliations within Advana or Palantir Foundry to enable accurate financial reporting and audit readiness, including valuation assessments and General Ledger (GL) tie-outs. This involves creating robust inventory reconciliations for each Working Capital Fund (WCF) DoW agency using advanced data platforms. Key responsibilities include reconciling subledger-to-GL tie-points by mapping quantities, values, and financial line items, as well as tracking Work-in-Process (WIP) and in-transit inventory items to ensure comprehensive oversight. The scope also includes managing inter-agency transfers, such as handling denials and returns, and establishing traceability to source transactions for improved accountability. Additionally, the role requires harmonizing master data elements like material numbers, Unit Identification Codes (UICs), storage locations, and condition codes to achieve consistency across systems. A critical aspect of this effort is identifying unmatched or unreconciled balances, categorizing them with age buckets and root-cause codes, and proposing workflow-driven corrective actions to address discrepancies. This initiative is integral to enhancing inventory management, financial transparency, and operational efficiency across the DoW enterprise. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 3 years experience in Subledger-to-General Ledger At least 5 years experience identifying unmatched/unreconciled balances Experience with Advana/Foundry environments Active SECRET Clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment Pay Range Information At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
