Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our assisted living nursing team at The Lutheran Home Hearthstone in Arlington Heights, IL.

The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is hiring a Registered Nurse for our PRN nursing team. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to build ongoing relationships with residents in a faith-based senior living community.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and team members
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Support a resident-centered environment that promotes dignity and independence

What You'll Need

Required:

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and procedures

Preferred:

• Experience working with older adults
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living settings

PRN Schedule Requirements

• Minimum of 4 shifts per month
• At least 1 weekend shift per month
• 1 observed holiday shift per calendar year
• Available shifts: 7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, 11:00pm–7:00am

Pay and Benefits

• $43.00/hour, plus $2.00/hour shift differential
