Company: The Viscardi Center Location: Nassau County Job Status: Full Time Regular Date Posted: 6/3/2026 Pay Rate: -$18.50 / Hr Responsibilities Assist in preparation of foods for HVS students' breakfast and lunch. Provide support to the Line-Cook as necessary by preparing breakfast orders, salads, and other food items for customers. Maintain a clean work environment at all times by cleaning counters, cooking areas, removing waste, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment, cases, etc. Operate the cash register to assist customers with their purchases and ensure transactions are accurate. Restock vending machines, refrigerators, and utensils. Keep inventory of products and alert the supervisor to reorder. Provide coverage and prepare meals in the absence of the cafeteria supervisor or line cook. Also, provide coverage at the cash register as necessary. The hours are 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends). Qualifications & Education High School diploma required.
