Role Description The Medical Assistant role at CCRM Fertility in Chestnut Hill, MA is a full-time, on-site position supporting clinical operations and patient care in a fertility practice. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, assisting providers with procedures, obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. The Medical Assistant helps coordinate patient flow, schedules appointments, provides pre- and post-procedure instructions, and ensures a compassionate, respectful experience for all patients. The role also involves maintaining clinical supplies, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and collaborating closely with nurses, physicians, and administrative staff. This position requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Qualifications Foundational clinical skills, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, and handling specimen collection. Experience with electronic medical records, basic documentation, and maintaining accurate, confidential patient information. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive support to patients and families. Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks, support clinic workflow, and follow established protocols reliably. Knowledge of basic infection control, safety standards, and medical office practices in an outpatient or specialty clinic setting. Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and adapt to evolving clinical and operational needs. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivaletto training; certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or similar) preferred. Previous experience in women's health, reproductive medicine, or a related specialty is beneficial but not required.
