Chassis Dynamometer Operator We are a global engineering consultancy providing services to the automotive industry as well as the heavy-duty and commercial engine industry. We are expanding, and we are seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator for our Vehicle Development Center. The right candidate will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle level engine calibration inside a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer. Primary responsibilities will include setting-up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects. Preventive maintenance of equipment. Maintaining quality assurance procedures. Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00PM-11:00PM) or 3rd shift (11:00PM-7:00AM). Associates Degree, Trade School or Technical School. Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office. Mechanical or Electrical experience required. Chassis dynamometer experience required. Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential. Effective organizational skills and team working ability desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fabrication experience a plus. Emissions experience a plus. Combustion experience a plus. Engine testing experience a plus. Horiba testing equipment experience a plus.
