Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity exists for a School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time role spans the academic school year, running from August 24 through June 3. You'll be working in a collaborative, educational setting in the southwest metropolitan area, bringing your expertise where it matters most.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Minnesota
- Experience supporting K-12 students
- Strong communication and consultative skills
- Ability to develop and interpret academic and psychological assessments
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
- Efficient time management and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological and educational assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions
- Recommend strategies to support student learning, social, and behavioral outcomes
- Lead and participate in IEP and evaluation meetings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
