Details Outpatient clinic setting Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Treats patients across orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical populations including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op shoulder/spinal/hip/knee cases, stroke, MS, Parkinson's, and TBI Supervises physical therapy assistants and PT technicians as part of the plan of care Utilizes facility modalities and exercise equipment Any charting system experience accepted Requirements Current PT license required for state of employment; license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required BLS certification required Experience with body mechanics, orthopedic, and neurologic assessment and treatment Skilled in home exercise program development and patient/family education Must maintain licensure in good standing throughout assignment Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients via physician referral or direct access May perform post-offer testing (WorkSTEPS or APET), Work Hardening Evaluations, Functional Capacity Evaluations, ergonomic evaluations, and job analysis Communicates regularly with referring physicians and rehab nurses regarding patient progress May assist with scheduling, answering phones, and billing code utilization for various payer types May participate in marketing, community events, and business development activities Open to first-time travelers American Traveler Job ID P-730925.
