Hiring: Travel Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)

Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
Job Type: Travel/Contract [NO BENEFITS]
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 5 × 8-Hour Shifts
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation

Pay Rate: $1900 - $2100/ Week

Required Qualifications

Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Acute care experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills

Experience with calorie counts, enteral nutrition (tube feedings), and total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
Knowledge of food-drug interactions and nutrition assessments and reassessments.
Ability to develop individualized nutrition treatment plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting preferred.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience participating in interdisciplinary patient rounds preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments for adult and geriatric patients.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans based on patients' medical conditions and nutritional needs.
Monitor calorie counts, enteral nutrition, TPN, and overall nutritional status.
Evaluate potential food-drug interactions and recommend appropriate therapeutic diets.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient recovery and optimize nutritional outcomes.
Document nutrition assessments, interventions, and follow-up care accurately in the electronic health record.
Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed.
Provide nutrition-related recommendations to support effective patient care and recovery.
