Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Android Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Android Engineer, you will be part of the Mobile Development Department supporting the Application Development Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia (hybrid) - open to NYC and Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: Depending on experience

Job type: Long-term contract

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications used by millions of users worldwide
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and fellow engineers to enhance app features and performance
• Implement modern Android development practices using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVI Architecture
• Integrate with REST APIs and other backend services to ensure seamless data flow
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure app stability and quality

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in developing Android applications with strong coding skills in Kotlin
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions and Circle CI
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming using Coroutines, Flow, and RxJava
• Knowledge of REST API integration, Ok and API documentation using RAML
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a collaborative environment
