We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing./ph3Job Description/h3pJob Title: Sr. Inspector/ppLocation: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6+months (Possibility of extension) Business Title: Sr. Inspector Business Unit: Neuro Quality/ppAs part of the Neuromodulation Receiving Inspection Team, support supplier quality assurance inspection activities related to Neuromodulation product to assure conformance to all dimensional requirements and quality specifications./ppProvide technical inspection and testing in a lab environment for production components as received from the supplier./ppInspect In-Process Materials to determine if dimensional requirement meet established specifications such as size, quality and overall appearance./ppUtilize the full complement of fundamental metrology devices including toolmakers microscope and basic hand tools to determine if workmanship and dimensional requirements meet established specifications./ppFill out appropriate history cards and electronic data, accurately documenting all inspection findings using established departmental systems./ppWork closely with engineering on inspection process development and improvement./ppWork closely with the Chemical Technologies group on parts that are submitted for tests./ppTrain new employees when needed./ph3Basic Qualifications/h3pAble to work with close tolerance piece parts and gages +/-.0001./ppAble to interpret and work from engineering drawings./ppUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)/ppProficient in the use of basic hand tools for dimensional inspection/ppProficient in the use of Toolmakers Microscope/ppAble to work on multiple projects./ppTeam player, good communication skills./ppHigh school diploma/GED/pp5 years previous dimensional inspection experience/ph3Specialized Knowledge Required/h3pMedical industry inspection required./ph3Physical Job Requirements/h3pThe physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job./ppReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile./ppStand/Sit/Walk 8 hrs/day./ppAble to lift 45 pounds from floor to a workbench on a consistent basis./ppVision requirement - correctable to 20/20 in at least 1 eye./ppAble to work with small parts, often under a microscope./ppThe employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers./p/div
