Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Florida (Preferred: St. Petersburg, FL Tampa/ Orlando or up to Gainesville) Experience: 6+ years Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) or Professional Engineer (PE) license. Job Summary The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of utility-scale power generation projects, including solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and conventional power plants. The role involves providing technical oversight, reviewing electrical designs, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards. Key Responsibilities Support project development, design, and EPC activities. Review electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documents. Perform or review power system studies using ETAP or SKM. Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning. Resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with IEEE, NESC, NFPA, and NERC standards. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
