Through relentless innovation and continuous collaboration with our customers, GE Gas Power, part of GE Vernova, is providing more advanced, cleaner, and efficient power that people depend on today and building the energy technologies of the future.As an intern on the Longmont, Colorado supply chain team you will be an active contributor to the development and improvement of manufacturing and supply chain processes and the deployment of lean manufacturing processes.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and publish standard work proceduresCollect and analyze data to aid in data driven decision makingExecute Lean 5s activities in the manufacturing shopCollaborate with production supervisors, materials team members, and manufacturing engineers to support and lead projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and costSupport manufacturing engineers and facilities team with installation and project management of new equipmentBasic QualificationsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn custom database and software applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in team environment as well as an individualCurrent enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer, Supply Chain or related field).
