General Practice Dental Officer

The general practice dental officer serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, or preventive measures. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

The General Dentistry Dental Officer shall be proficient in all aspects of general dentistry including the ability to perform selected specialty services. Specifically, the provider should possess the expertise and competency to perform the following:

• Oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity and its adjacent tissues and structures;
• Diagnose pathological or irregular oral conditions;
• Administer local anesthesia;
• Routine and complex restoration of teeth;
• Simple and complex extractions of teeth;
• Alveoloplasty and other routine surgical procedures;
• Prosthetic dentistry to include removable complete dentures, removable partial dentures, crowns fixed bridge work, and implant supported prostheses;
• Routine endodontic procedures on single and multi-canal teeth;
• Routine and surgical procedures within the scope of a general dentist; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
