Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision of a licensed PT to implement treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM work, and therapeutic activities tailored to LTAC/long-term care needs.
- Monitor patient responses, document sessions, track progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team.
- Support patient and family education on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and activity modification.
- Maintain a safe treatment area, manage equipment, and adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure coordinated care and timely discharge planning when appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure by endorsement/reciprocity
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience in long-term care or LTAC settings preferred
- Ability to work in a LTC environment and participate in a 5x8 day shift with guaranteed hours
- Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient with electronic health record systems
- Eligibility to work in the United States; ability to travel to the assignment location
