Skilled Trades Recruiter

Remote | Full-Time | $70,000-75,000 DOE Plus Bonus

What You'll Be Responsible For as a Skilled Trades Recruiter

Recruit, Hire & Deploy Skilled Trades Talent

Source, recruit, screen, interview, and onboard skilled trades professionals for commercial, industrial, civil, and specialty construction projects
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of field talent to support immediate orders, emergency fills, and project ramp-ups
Recruit for high-demand positions including:
Electricians
Carpenters (Rough & Finish)
Skilled Laborers
Plumbers & Pipefitters
Welders & Fabricators
HVAC Technicians
Heavy Equipment Operators
Concrete & General Construction Trades

Own the Recruiting Process

Fill open job orders with urgency while maintaining quality and compliance
Conduct candidate screening, reference checks, onboarding, orientation, and employment verification
Ensure candidates meet required certifications, PPE requirements, and jobsite expectations
Manage attendance, employee relations, no-shows, call-offs, and redeployment opportunities

Partner with Operations & Sales

Work closely with account managers and leadership to anticipate hiring demands
Support large workforce deployments, shutdowns, same-day requests, and project expansions
Help maintain workforce continuity for critical construction schedules

Build Relationships that Drive Retention

Create strong relationships with field employees and clients
Improve employee retention, redeployment, and workforce engagement
Become a trusted workforce partner to both candidates and contractors

What a Successful Skilled Trades Recruiter Looks Like in This Role

Understand construction jobsites and skilled trades terminology
Love solving staffing challenges and finding talent quickly
Are highly organized, proactive, and performance-driven
Take pride in helping keep major construction projects staffed and operational

Qualifications

2+ years of recruiting experience preferred in:
Skilled Trades Staffing
Construction Staffing
Workforce Solutions
Strong sourcing and recruiting skills
Experience using Bullhorn strongly preferred.
Experience using Wurknow is a plus
Ability to manage high-volume requisitions in a deadline-driven environment
Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required

Base Salary + Performance Bonus / Commission
