Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments, including insulin and Cardizem drips, ensuring precise delivery.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying any deterioration.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately using the EPIC EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment.
  
  
• 
  Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and swift action.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active MI RN license required, with pending licenses accepted if ETA is provided.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS and BLS certifications, preferred AHA.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to manage adult and geriatric patient populations.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (1900-0730) and participate in every other weekend schedule.
  
  
• 
  Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills.
