Dispensing Nurse

The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for creating a welcoming and healing environment by providing quality, sufficient and appropriate clinical services and maintaining high professional standards.
As a Dispensing Nurse with BCCS, you will:
- Be primarily involved in dispensing methadone, a medication long known for its effectiveness in treating opiate addiction.
- Assist with Intake process
- Participate in treatment planning meetings.
- Follow-up on all medical referrals and record actions
- Facilitate detox entry with proper referral
Qualifications for this position are:
- Currently a licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware
Schedule:
- Monday and Friday: 5:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
- Two Saturdays per month: 5:30 a.m. 9:30 a.m.
- Additional hours may be available daily during dispensing times at both the Milford and Georgetown sites, from 5:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m., if the candidate is interested.
Pay:
- LPN: Starting at $30/hour.
- RN: Starting at $40/hour.
