In this role, you'll provide professional massage therapy services in a welcoming, wellness-focused environment while building meaningful relationships with clients and supporting their health goals.Schedule:Part-time, up to 29 hours per weekHours based on client appointmentsFacility Operating Hours:Monday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.Join HealthFitness and make a positive impact by helping clients feel their best through the power of therapeutic massage.Responsible for administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests.Key Accountabilities:Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.Therapist must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.Minimum Requirements:Massage Therapy License for the state of Michigan required.Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.2+ years of massage therapy experience required.Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.Experience in sports massage techniques.Good communication skills; listening and verbal.This is a commissioned position. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
