Director of Operations

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity located in the Belton, Missouri area. What You Will Be Doing Lead all manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are achieved while meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Develop, manage, and execute the operating budget and manufacturing strategy to support business growth and customer expectations. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of manufacturing leaders, fostering accountability, employee development, and operational excellence. Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve plant performance. Oversee production planning, capacity management, and ERP-driven manufacturing processes to optimize plant operations. What We Need From You To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a production environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including metal fabrication, painting and coating, and low-volume, high-mix assembly. Experience working within an ERP environment, including MRP, production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning. Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor. Proven leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills: Experience within vehicle manufacturing or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with manufacturing products designed for first responder, emergency, or safety-focused applications. Track record of driving operational improvements across multiple manufacturing functions.
