• Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience, Epic experience required

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $56.95 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced critical care to neuro, stroke, vascular, and post-surgical patients
• Manage ventilator settings, EVD, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, and CRRT
• Perform invasive procedures including arterial lines, central lines, and NIH evaluations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple ICU units, including SCU, NCU, CCU, and occasionally the ED
• Monitor and respond to complex neurological and surgical patient needs
• Float between units as needed, providing versatile ICU coverage
• Ensure patient safety and deliver compassionate, high-quality care

What You Need

• Valid nursing license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with neuro exposure preferred
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
• Ability to float between multiple ICU units and some ED coverage
• Strong skills in ventilator management, neuro patient care, and invasive procedures

Required:

• Must have ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH certifications
• Must be willing to float to different ICU units and to the ED as needed

Preferred:

• Epic EHR experience
• Experience with neuro patients post-craniotomy or with ICP monitoring
