Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers, and offer patients the reassurance they need through precise and timely imaging solutions.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by clearly explaining each step with warmth and understanding
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any technical issues
• Keep accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
