At CED, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, location and geography. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. CED's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.Job SummaryThe Senior Recruiter will partner with HR leadership to execute on CED's staffing plan. The Senior Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract, assess, and hire top talent across the organization. This role drives compliance with hiring processes, helps strengthen the company's employment brand, champions a positive candidate experience, and ensures recruiting processes are consistent, efficient, and compliant.Essential Job FunctionsPartner with department leaders to execute on enterprise-wide staffing plans and develop recruiting strategies to engage with high quality candidates across the organizationLead full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer development, and onboarding coordinationSource talent using proactive methods such as job boards, networking, employee referrals, and targeted outreach (e.g. Veteran's organizations)Provide consultation to hiring managers on job descriptions, labor market insights, and interview techniquesMonitor requisition loads assigned to other recruiters / sourcers; escalate concerns to leadershipEnsure all recruiting activities comply with organizational policies and employment lawsMaintain a high-quality candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and organized process flowTrack and report recruiting metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvementProvide guidance and advice to recruiting staff and contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and toolsRepresent the organization at career fairs, community events, technical schools, and universitiesOther Job FunctionsComply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresEnsure 100% compliance with the Chemring Operational Framework, Code of Conduct and U.S. Code of Ethics and Business ConductSpecial projects and additional duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilityN/AEducationBachelor's degree in business preferredExperienceMinimum of 3 years progressive experience in full cycle recruiting, with a strong preference for manufacturing or engineering industriesSkills and QualificationsLawful US Person (ITAR restrictions)Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Chemring Energetic DevicesDemonstrated success recruiting for technical, professional, and manufacturing rolesStrong sourcing skills with a commitment to process integrityExcellent communication and influencing skillsAbility to manage multiple concurrent requisitions to meet staffing requirementsHigh degree of integrity and trustworthinessAbility to represent the Company positively and professionally through behavior, attitude and professional communicationPhysical and Other RequirementsLifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently.
