MRI Technologist - Travel Contract

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. On-call coverage Thursday to Saturday, requiring 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures to produce diagnostic images. The ideal candidate must ensure that patient care and comfort are prioritized while operating MRI equipment efficiently and safely, in compliance with protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans of patients while maintaining their safety and comfort.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on MRI equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality imaging services.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months of current MRI Tech experience.
• ARRT (MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Toshiba MRI equipment preferred.
