Experienced Production Operations SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Production Operations Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK!The Experienced Production Operations Specialist will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. In this role, you will define production activities, resolve issues of limited scope, investigate product defects and production inefficiencies, and develop solutions to reduce or mitigate recurrence. You will also review and approve technical documents, analyze charging trends, support staffing forecasts, and assist with capital expenditure and equipment implementation activities.This position serves as a primary interface with internal customers, translating data into actionable plans for implementation within the organization. The ideal candidate will lead projects, participate in research efforts related to proposed initiatives, and compile management status reports for corrective and preventive actions.Position Responsibilities: Develop and implement manufacturing processes to support production needs and operational objectivesDefine production activities and resolve problems of limited scopeInvestigate product defects and production inefficiencies and develop corrective and preventive solutionsReview and approve technical documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and complianceAnalyze charging trends and develop projected staffing forecastsAssist in the preparation and justification of major capital expenditures and equipment implementationLead projects and participate in research related to proposed projectsServe as the primary interface with internal customers to coordinate needs and expectationsTranslate data into actionable implementation plans within the organizationCompile and provide management status reports for corrective and preventive actionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives in manufacturing or production processes3+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying issues and making recommendations for improvements associated with a value stream that resulted in change and improved business positionAbility to investigate, define, and resolve complex issues using methodical approach to issue definition and resolutionExperience communicating technical details clearly and concisely with customers and cross functional teamsExperience in project management for small and large projectsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher1+ Experience supporting staffing analysis, capital planning, or equipment implementationFamiliarity with corrective and preventive action processesExperience serving as a point of contact for internal customers and stakeholdersCoordinate resources to enhance operational efficiencyConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment processDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Travel:This position may require travel up to 25% of the timeShift:This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectivesTotal Rewards: At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
