Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Python AWS Developer with 10+ years of IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Python, AWS services, databases, and SQL. The consultant will design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based applications and data solutions.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Experience with AWS services, including:
- AWS Glue
- Amazon SNS and SQS
- AWS Lambda
- Strong database and SQL skills.
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and relevant domain concepts.
- Experience developing, troubleshooting, and supporting production applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Apache Iceberg
- Terraform
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience
Note : This is a 100% hands-on development role. Candidates currently located in Virginia or within commuting distance of Reston, VA are preferred.
