Create tailored treatment strategies that target immediate objectives alongside long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on enhancing speech clarity, language development, fluency, and swallowing capabilities. Partner closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to formulate cohesive and effective treatment plans. Empower patients and families with educational resources that encourage progress outside of the therapy environment. Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the patient's course of treatment. Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to all relevant regulations. Engage in continuous learning and collaboration with peers to stay abreast of innovations in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
