Job Summary

We are recruiting Maintenance Technicians for temp-to-hire opportunities throughout the Kansas City metro, including Overland Park, KS. This is a great opportunity for hands-on maintenance professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, completing repairs, and helping keep buildings, facilities, and properties operating safely and efficiently.

The Maintenance Technician role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, solid general repair experience, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team-focused environment. These opportunities offer steady full-time schedules, practical day-to-day variety, and the chance to build long-term stability with organizations that value reliable maintenance support, responsive service, and safe, well-maintained properties.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general building, facility, and property maintenance, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests, prioritize repairs, and complete work in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle basic carpentry, painting, drywall, fixtures, equipment, grounds, and other general repair tasks.
- Coordinate with vendors or outside contractors when needed and maintain accurate records of completed work.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Overland Park, KS and Kansas City metro opportunities.
