Job Description
The Inkjet Addressing and Mail Inserter Operator plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient mail processing through skilled inkjet printing and mail insertion. Operating within a small team and reporting to the Production Manager, this role demands careful attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards during the production process. Operators work regular shift hours with opportunities for overtime, focusing on smooth machine operation and prompt troubleshooting without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform inkjet printing on mail pieces accurately and efficiently
- Operate mail inserter machines ensuring correct mail assembly
- Conduct quality inspections to maintain high production standards
- Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in mail operation environments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in inkjet printing operation and mail inserter machine use
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and quality control procedures
- Strong attention to detail
