Metropolitan Companies is looking for an Estimating Coordinator to join our team! The Estimating Coordinator will support the Estimating team with pre construction meetings, creating final bid packages, and more. This is a great opportunity for a recent Construction Management graduate looking to start their career. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Pre-Construction process by attending meetings, recording and following up on action items
• Print drawings, prepare permit applications and coordinate the procurement of necessary licenses and registrations as directed
• Track invitations to bid, maintain master job calendars, and flag critical submission deadlines
• Solicit pricing, collect subcontractor quotes, and track trade partner prequalification data
• Organize architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and request-for-information (RFI) files in shared servers
• Format final bid packages, complete compliance forms, and assist with basic material quantity take-offs

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Competencies:

• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, manage time and multi-task
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or 2+ years of experience in construction industry
• Basic working knowledge of construction terminology
• Strong computer and technical skills – full Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred:

• 5+ Years Experience in construction industry
• Experience working in Procore
• Experience working in Building Connected
