JANITOR (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full-time Janitor positions at Delta Sky Club, located at 2642 World Gateway Place, Detroit, MI 48242. Overview Schedule: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM, days may vary. Weekends required. Full‑time position. 1 year of janitorial experience required. Fixed pay rate: $18.70 per hour. Job Summary The role involves keeping buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. Dusts and damp–mops floors following approved procedures. Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement. Uses assigned materials and equipment to clean assigned areas and sanitizes all surfaces, following the eight‑step cleaning procedure. Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task. Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor. Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines. Strips, scrubs, buffs and refines floors; shampoos carpet. Contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others. Performs other duties as assigned.
